Last January or February, Matt Gardner, the MBTC president invited Lennar management to present their plans to the MBTC Board. One of the questions asked of the Lennar personnel was whether short term rentals would be allowed according to the CCRs. The response was, while the final CCRs had not been determined, standard CCRs were planned that do not allow vacation rentals. While there was skepticism, the Board took the Lennar management at their word.
The advertisement above states that there will be no rental, VRBO, AirBnB restrictions. While this does not necessarily translate to less than 30 day rentals, it seems likely that the intent of Mr. Springer is to suggest that STRs are allowed. So, what is the right answer?
