Mission Beach Residents:

We need your help to support recommendations for consideration by the CAC consultants. Please email your support for:

1. Make the current 290 degree vector the initial leg up to the coast for ALL PADRZ SID departures, assuming that the 290 degree vector goes over Noise Dot #2.

2. Ask the CAC to consider adding a lower thrust departure for both ZZOOO and PADRZ out 2 miles beyond the coast line based on proven benefits at John Wayne Airport.

Please email your requests directly to Heide Gantwerk at

CAC Members, We are happy to inform you that the FAA has approved moving forward with virtual meetings of the TAC and CAC for the next step in our Part 150 process. On Thursday, May 28th from 1:00-2:30 PM, we will hold our next CAC meeting via video conference (Zoom). At this meeting we will review the preliminary analysis of the operational alternatives that the team has modeled to date. In addition, we will have the opportunity to identify and workshop any additional alternatives the group believes should be considered.

I will send Zoom link information in advance of the session. If possible it will be helpful to arrange for access to a computer screen or monitor (rather than a tablet or phone) during the call so that you can easily view slides. This will allow you to better participate in the meeting. If you have any questions, or need help prior to the meeting to use Zoom, please let me know.

Thank you,

Heidi Gantwerk H.G. Consulting Group (858) 342-9916
